One of the biggest lessons I learned this past quarter is that when it comes to recruiting, (or sales) having *options* is everything.
We set a goal to hire 3 new loan officers last quarter, and to make that happen, We wanted to have at least 80 leads to choose from. Yes, 8-0 leads. Why? Because the more leads we have, the better chances of finding the perfect fit for our team.
With that in mind we draw a plan of action, scored the progress andc3 months later. We got 85 leads. Hired 3 new potential loan officers.
Having options gave us the confidence to hire people who we feel fit our values and needs.
The more leads, the better the chances.
