Steps to launch a successful MVP 🚀 And why it still might fail... 🤦♂️ Your MVP launch day may only last 24 hours but a lot of work goes into it behind the scenes for days, weeks, and months before. Here are the five key things most successful MVP launches do well. - Start building hype early You need an audience when you release your MVP. This initial audience will be your first supporters and earliest promoters. This early support will also be critical in giving you early feedback and guidance to help you build the best MVP possible. - Don’t rush to market When you’re building your MVP it’s an exciting time and you can’t wait for people to start using it. You need to make sure that you control this excitement and only launch when your MVP is ready. You want the initial excitement and hype to turn into a wave rather than peter out into the ocean of other MVPs. - Focus on UX People will forgive your product not having all of the bells and whistles when you first launch, as long as your MVP solves their problems and is easy to use. People don’t want to learn how to use a new tool, they’re too busy! - Have an open mind Your initial idea is what’s got you to where you are right now but you can’t hold onto it unyieldingly. If lots of people are saying the same thing to you, make sure that you are listening. Oftentimes the best ideas are the ones you’ve never had. - Have good branding Your MVP, social media accounts, and content should all have common branding. People need to know it’s you when they come across your work. Make sure that you are using the same logos and brand colours across your whole online presence. With all this said, there's still a chance that your MVP fails, there’s lots of competition out there and sometimes somebody else just does it better.
