You must have heard about influencer marketing, but are you aware of its hidden superpower and origin? Jesus made great use of Influencer marketing in His ministry. Only this time, He was the influencer. Jesus is the greatest influencer of all time. His game is top-notch. I mean, He would even influence influencers to increase His sphere of influence and He still does it to date through the Holy Spirit. Talk about generational influence. Remember the Samaritan woman at the well? She seemed like a well-known woman in her town and already had 5 husbands to her name. Jesus influenced her by offering her the value of living water and revelation truth. Soon after, she spread the word of His power to the whole city and this drew out the city to meet Jesus. If you are quite conversant with the trends on social media today, you will notice that famous entrepreneurs and CEOs are finally coming into the spotlight to build a personal brand that would further showcase their brand. They are now using their influence for their profit. Even Mark Zuckerberg was never active in his creation till recently. What about Donald Trump? Trump gathered millions of followers in less than 2 days. The world of influence through content creation and other forms of advertising is now taking over and we Christianpreneurs also need to step up our game. How do we do this? Find out in our latest blog - "Marketing By Influence" Read more.. https://lnkd.in/gipJt_uj #DiaryOfAChristianEntrepreneur #InfluencerMarketing #marketing #BusinessTips

INFLUENCER MARKETING "No o, I don't have money to pay celebrities o. You want those ones to cut my neck with their price?" That, was the response I got from Amara when I suggested she reach out to Influencers to advertise her knitted clothes. And I can bet my most unloved dress that this is the reaction most of you have when you're presented with this option too. But I can tell you that it's not as scary as it's made out to be. "Influencers" aren't only and always your high-end celebrities. It could be your pastor, imam, village head, school leaders, teachers, thought leaders online, etc. An influencer is basically anyone who people trust and can guide (influence) the decisions of those people. In your case, "people" refers to your Target Audience. Stay tuned for my subsequent posts where I'll be discussing; - how to determine the right influencer for your need/business/service - how to make and present your proposal to them - how to negotiate with the influencer (pricing) Follow me @ Ijeoma Precious if you like this and for more related content to help your brand/business grow. I am your exceptional Branding and Marketing Strategist ready to work with you to create an outstanding brand identity and perception that will build trust with your audience. What is an Social Influencer? They're basically like the cool kid in high school who can convince everyone to try out a new lunch spot. Here's what makes 'em tick: They're the ones who can make you say, "I gotta have that!" just by showing off a product. Why? 'Cause they know their stuff and people trust what they say. They've got their own little corner of the internet where they hang out with their crew. Think of it like a clubhouse where they chat, share memes, and dish out advice. And yeah, the more popular the club, the bigger the crowd! And here's the kicker: they're not just another marketing tool. Nope, they're like your social sidekick, helping you spread the word and connect with your audience in a real, authentic way. So, next time you're looking to amp up your brand, think about teaming up with one of these influencer pals! . #InfluencerLife #socialmedia #help #techhelp #smallbusiness #womenowned #toptips #socialsidekick #influencer #marketing

While reading this book, I realised something, and today feels like the perfect day to share it with you. I realised that when we think of influencers today, we often focus on social media, likes, and engagement metrics. But long before the internet, there was someone who mastered influence without any of these tools – Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhiji didn’t have Instagram, Twitter, or YouTube, yet he had followers. He sparked conversations that mattered. He had key opinions on non-violence, self-reliance, and justice which led to revolutionary movements, not only in India but also in Africa. He was an influencer of change. He led by example, and his actions resonated with millions. His ‘engagement’ wasn’t measured by clicks or shares but by the tangible change he inspired in people’s lives. From a marketing perspective, Gandhiji understood the power of authenticity, community, and a clear message. He made people believe in something bigger than themselves, and that’s what true influence is all about. So, in many ways, his methods provide a blueprint for modern-day marketing- ☑️Know your audience ☑️Stay true to your values ☑️Make an impact - Is there any aspect of Gandhiji’s ideals that you connect with? I’ll be happy to hear your thoughts too! #gandhijayanti #influencer #marketing #gandhiji #ideals #inspiration #thoughts #opinions

Do influencers still matter? Here is my take on why they are more important than ever right now.. Read somewhere that influencer marketing is dying!!! No, not really. I believe it's only refining and becoming much more rewarding. The more creators are jumping in, the more good creators will be valued who can influence the crowd. If done right, it can change the course of results for political parties, companies and individuals. We are seeing politicians collaboration with influencers to change the course of thinking of Gen Z mostly, we are seeing unusual collabs ( Bill Gates and Chaiwala ) and we are seeing crazy initiatives taken to call out the bad ( Label padhega India) Revant Himatsingka (Food Pharmer) , Dhruv Rathee, Tanmay Bhatt, Ankur Warikoo , Deshbhakt, Ganeshprasad S , Ranveer Allahbadia , Raj Shamani and so many other creators are literally changing the way people think. On a smaller scale also I know people who have been doing good at the micro level and influencing decisions. Wherever we have to purchase something, we head to YouTube and see a review, probably get influenced by the creators review and either select or reject the product at that instance. People are looking for a genuine voice to back their logic, ones that becomes that voice can do wonders🙌 #influencer #marketing P.S.- I am building a channel about all things MBA -from CAT to second year of MBA- on YouTube. Moving up in influencer marketing? Here's what I've learned on my climb. 1️⃣ Embrace responsibility: It's been a game-changer for me, making every decision count. 2️⃣ Handle many tasks at once: IMM days are full of different projects. 3️⃣ Cultivate connections: I've learned that strong networks are the backbone of success here. 4️⃣ Pay attention to the details: Trust me, it's the small touches that often draw the biggest praise. 5️⃣ Understand the numbers: Early on, I realized getting this wrong means losing money. 6️⃣ Expand your linguistic horizons: Don't limit your influence to just one market. These tips are the ladder to becoming a pro in influencer marketing. Embrace them, and you'll find yourself moving up faster than you thought possible. #influencermarketing #careerjourney #professionalgrowth

Strong headline on Andrew Hutchinson's recent article in Social Media Today, LLC. Do you agree? When it comes to influencer marketing, I do! When researching and reviewing accounts connected with individuals that a brand is considering a partnership with, I don't consider follower count to be the most influential metric to look at. In fact, it can be a turn-off if the follower history makes it abundantly clear that followers are being purchased. Same goes for bought engagements. I don't think it would be far-fetched to say that most brands want to work with someone who is a good fit for their overall messaging and goals, who will be able to authentically share their story, and have an established and active community of their own that they are actively engaged with. It's not about connecting with the most accounts, it's about connecting with the right accounts. #SocialMedia #InfluencerMarketing #BrandAmbassador

And this is why I love LinkedIn and it's one of my favorite social media platforms, because without even really trying, without spending to boost posts, the algorithms here really work as intended. You can now be an "influencer" without trying. With similar followings on other platforms, to get these results you need to have a spend budget. Not here. Thank you LinkedIn for giving the average Joe a voice! #voiceofcustomer #voiceofemployee #influencer #influence #socialmeida #trending #hashtag #linkedin

This conversation might be far from ending. Influencer marketing vs key opinion leaders When you are buying an apartment in Nairobi, would you be keen to make a decision after seeing a dance reel around the place from a witty comedian with 1M followers or would you look at a review of the property from a real estate expert with a measly 100 followers? Who would have more authority? I am asking you this because: 1. I currently do not have money to buy a property in Nairobi. But you might☺️ 2. Because I have seen many marketing managers go for the witty comedian. I am sure something informs their decision on this. #influencermarketing

This has got to be the most frustrating part of running influencer campaigns: You find an amazing influencer who ticks all the boxes. Perfect! But then… where's the contact info? No email. No discord. No straightforward way to get in touch. As someone trying to offer real opportunities, it’s discouraging to feel like connecting is a game of “hope they see my DM”. To all the influencers out there: if you’re serious about sponsorships and collaborations, please make it easier for people to contact you. A simple email address for business inquiries could make all the difference. Professional connections don’t need to be this hard! #influencer #influencermarketing #marketing
