🌍 HelloFresh is launching its biggest campaign ever, spanning 13 markets using AI practices. Which ones you ask? Well Patrick Stal SVP international marketing at HelloFresh Group, speaking to The Drum only revealed that the in-house creative team "merged this bold new creative direction with innovative AI practices to fuel a truly integrated global campaign." But did not expand on what those practices were. It would be great to hear more about them. 🎒 Targeting busy families during peak back to school time the fast-paced, 30-second ad brings you into lots of different types of homes and families and showcases them with on screen graphics of the food. 🔊The campaign also marks HelloFresh's first foray into sonic branding - which is definitely a good move for International brands (did somebody say just eat?) ? ❓ What do you think of this campaign? Stop trying to appeal to everyone. It won't work. The most successful businesses on this planet have one thing in common: They know EXACTLY who they're talking to. Look at McDonald's, for example: - They don't sell an artisanal burger for $25 - They don't appeal to organic food lovers They market to people who want a quick and cheap meal. That's it. It's the same with your marketing. You need to know: - Who your audience is - What they want - What they need Then, and only then, can you effectively speak to them and make an impact. What I learned about healthcare consumer engagement from the Harlem Globetrotters 🏀: First a bit of context: over the weekend, the family and I watched the Harlem Globetrotters put on a show in Sydney. They put on a great event, and because I’m a healthtech nerd, the whole thing made me realise there is a lot we could learn from the way they have reinvented basketball, and apply it to healthcare consumer engagement. …ok so hear me out. 😅 I have shared my thoughts on this in detail over in the Talking HealthTech community, and I break down the lessons including for healthcare, including: 🤹 Engagement Through Entertainment 📊Simplifying Complex Topics 💪Inspiring Through Representation 🙏🏻Building Community and Loyalty 💰Innovative Business Models If we are going to fix healthcare, we need to think differently. The challenge is out there to anyone creating solutions in health: 🤔 how else can you turn passive users into active participants in their health journeys?
