In my life and in my career I have been blessed with amazing family, friends, mentors, colleagues and partners. I have always believed if you work hard, be a good person and try to help others succeed in life the world will take care of you. This week has really cemented this belief with me, I have had the pleasure to travel to Toronto to meet with a vendor who wants to partner with us at 101 Doors and Windows going forward. One of the great thing about this partnership is it feels like they want our success more than their own!! We were treated like family this week, you would have thought we have been a top vendor of theirs for years. Today marks my one-year anniversary at Exclaimer and what a year it has been! Just in time for that milestone, I had the rare pleasure of spending time with the whole team in person for our marketing offsite in London this week. When asked to summarize working at Exclaimer in 3 words, the first coming to mind are: Collaborative, Challenging, and Fun. Collaborative 🤝 Despite being miles apart geographically, our team has mastered the art of remote work. We are always ready to hop on a call or Slack to brainstorm ideas, provide valuable feedback, or just catch up for a bit. Challenging 🧩 - indeed, but in the most rewarding way. With an incredible growth trajectory and ambitious goals amidst forming processes, the team has cultivated a 'can-do' spirit that pushes me to come up with new campaign ideas, test new channels, and support our bold brand evolution. It's a ride that's both exhilarating and enriching. And lastly, Fun 😄 - because what's work without some good laughs and positive vibes? A few jokes here and there, being generous with smiles, and a shared enthusiasm is what makes all efforts worthwhile. [Life at Qovery 💜 ] For once, I’m allowing myself to share a more personal post on a professional social network to highlight the values of my company, Qovery. More than the nice offices, more than the cutting-edge equipment, more than the offsites abroad, this is what makes me truly appreciate my journey here. Humanity. Beyond being employees, we are, above all, human beings. This summer, I lost a close family member. I had the opportunity to spend time with her during the last moments. I felt comfortable sharing what I was going through with my team, and with the founders as well (which is already a big step, as it’s not always easy to share personal matters in a professional setting). I talked a bit about it with the CEO of Qovery, and this was his response: "I can't even imagine what you're feeling. If you need time off, don't hesitate, even without using your vacation days." This is truly representative of what we experience at Qovery. This is our culture. This is why I want to stay on this journey for as long as possible.
