Yesterday evening, we hosted our annual Team Iftar at Babu House, an evening we hold very close to our hearts.
During the holy month of Ramadan many of our team have been fasting from dawn to dusk and as we enter the final few days of this month it felt so special to host an Iftar together and break bread while learning more about this amazing time from them.
✨ Ramadan Mubarak friends. ✨
Here's me trying the Himachali dish Siddu for the first time.
Just like tasting a new dish, starting a new project or delving into a new domain can be both exciting and nerve-wracking.
However, just like the delightful flavours of Siddu, diving into the unknown can often lead to discovering new skills, perspectives, and opportunities.
Embracing the unfamiliar with an open mind and a willingness to learn can result in a truly rewarding experience, both in the culinary world and in our professional lives.
Savouring the journey one at a time!

Alhamdolillah, Ramadan is one day away in Pakistan & accross the globe, moon has been sighted. so I thought to share some points which may benefit us.
1- prepare a timetable to follow in Ramadan like working hours, when to Recite, sleep, walk, jog, etc
2- widen your horizon & listen the difference of opinion regarding religious views
3- Ramadan & Quran has a special relation, start reciting consciously. Great to recite with understanding.
4- Charity - plan it, make an estimated budget and spend on the real needy ones instead of distributing on institution of beggars. Find a single person, who can be benefitted instead of multiple persons with small numbers. People also distribute ZAKAT in this month, advisable to learn first the applicability of zakat, how to calculate & to whom to pay.
5- Set a target to learn - any single topic such as Quran with Tarjuma (recommended Surah Yousuf, Kahf, Noor, Furqan, Noah, Mulk). Also can learn rules regarding Salah (namaaz), Seerat knowledge (Prophet's life)
6- find Imam for taravih that increase your love with Quran, you can find if you want (personally experienced)
7- Shopping - most important since we will have Eid & obviously wearing new clothes is blessing. Advisable to do in coming 3 to 4 days in order to avoid market visit in last part of Ramadan, these special nights will never comeback, cash it.
8- Beautify - last minute Beautification is a common day trend (visiting parlours), advisable to avoid it, basic is ok but spending unusual time on it may cost in cashing the jewels of Ramadan.
9- add / suggest anything comes in your mind :)
