Last year: I was rejected from speaking at SXSW. This year: It will be different. And we have the dream speaking team to prove it. To get soooo close to a dream and falling short in the final round of decisions last year stings more than anything. But the same thing happened with my jounrey of speaking at a TEDx event. And after several rejections, I learned how the process works, found former speakers, asked for advice, and strengthened my speaking resume.
