One of the things we're very fortunate about in our work is that we speak to lots of people working across global golf, each and every week. From those conversations and observations during and just after the pandemic years, there were broadly two camps:
1. Those who focused on praised the rising overall numbers of people playing golf, according to reports.
2. Those who recognised that golf had been gifted an opportunity, but that it didn't change the fact that it still had (and has...) to evolve and improve on many fronts, because after people get back to other activities, the same challenges golf has with perception, will still limit its potential.
This includes the way we market our game, and the experience we offer people (both existing golfers and potential new golfers).
There are some great people and companies that sit in Camp 2 but we're discovering new ones all the time.
