Ibukun Awosika invited me to be part of a panel discussion on Friday at the International Woman Leadership Conference in Dubai that she organizes each year. It is an extremely impressive annual gathering, bringing together over 500 amazing women in various positions of leadership across the African continent and beyond. I had heard about the event before, but it’s difficult to fully understand the magnitude and impact without being there in person. I felt incredibly honored to be one of the only men in the room and to be invited to speak about the journey with d.light in the context of cultivating courage and boldness to drive change. I left feeling even more thankful to have Ibukun on the d.light board! Thank you Ibukun for the great work you are doing in the world and for d.light!
