So here's your weekly post about private sector jobs for crime analysts. I've included my thoughts on each one- maybe in the future I'll do one of these posts about job postings that I think all look terrible...I might have to switch to Facebook for that. American Express- Sr. Special Agent of Cyber Crime Investigations. This job title reads like it'd skew towards sworn jobs, but Cyber Crime investigations inherently involve a lot of data analysis. I hate seeing salary ranges this wide (80k-155) but it indicates a way higher ladder than most analysts in law enforcement get to climb. https://lnkd.in/eVSzyuuU FS-ISAC, Cyber Crime and Fraud Analyst - I don't know that I've ever seen a job title that combines both cyber crime and fraud. Its a good opportunity to get experience in both realms I guess. ITs fully remote and this company is listed as a non-profit on glassdoor.com, so PSLF might be an option. https://lnkd.in/eA6NgdGy Amazon, Risk Analyst Counterfeit Crime Unit- For someone who really enjoys OSINT activities and has some data analysis skills, this looks like a sweet opportunity to work for a FAANG employer. It also looks super flexible with working location. https://lnkd.in/e9tR8z57 ESRI, Solution Engineer (Local Gov)- Don't let the word "Engineer" scare you off here. I got my private sector start with a very similar title, with no engineering experience or education. If you're a die-hard ESRI fanatic who has made cool products inside a PD, you're probably a competitive applicant. https://lnkd.in/eS4NdfZJ

Be cautious when sharing sensitive information with potential employers. Legitimate employers usually don't ask for sensitive information early on in the hiring process. If a potential employer is requesting sensitive information early, it could be a red flag for potential fraud or identity theft. Make sure to thoroughly verify the legitimacy of the employer before sharing such details. Don't fall for fake job postings! #jobsearchtips
