We are thrilled to announce that Christina Blum has joined Doma Title Insurance as Vice President, Regional Underwriting Counsel overseeing our Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas regions. Christina brings a wealth of experience, having previously served as assistant vice president and underwriting counsel at a national title insurance #underwriter, where she handled intricate residential and commercial real estate transactions. Her background also includes a role as senior associate attorney at Langley & Banack, Inc., specializing in banking and real estate law. In her new role, Christina will provide crucial support to independent agents across the tri-state area and collaborate closely with Doma Enterprise and Lennar Title in Texas. Danielle Kaiser, Vice President and Deputy Chief Underwriting Counsel for Doma’s Midwest region, praised Christina's pragmatic approach to underwriting and her adept problem-solving skills, emphasizing her positive impact on agent transactions. Christina earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Minor in Political Science from Elmhurst College and her Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University Law Center. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and Nebraska, actively participating in the business law, corporate counsel, and real estate sections of the Texas Bar. She is a member of the San Antonio Bar Association. Additionally, Christina serves as the local legislative liaison for the Texas Land Title Association (TLTA). Excited about joining Doma, Christina values the company's collaborative culture and its commitment to innovation in a challenging legal landscape. She aims to streamline underwriting processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility for agents. Beyond her professional endeavors, Christina enjoys #volunteering at a local cat shelter and cheering on her daughter at gymnastic competitions. The two will often go ice skating together as well (Christina took lessons!). She is passionate about supporting small businesses and will often visit local coffee shops in search of the best cup. Her favorite places to visit are New Orleans and Baton Rouge, where she cherishes her LSU alumni ties – Geaux Tigers!
