It is amazing that we have the capability to use UAS systems in highly hostile and hazardous environments. This gives us the ability to gather information without risking human lives. Aircraft like the MQ-9 are revolutionizing the battlefield and paving the way for new strategic operations. With additions like the Scalable Open Architecture Reconnaissance (SOAR) pod, these aircraft can detect and identify radar signals from long distances. This capability allows for effective stand-off surveillance, enabling the aircraft to gather intelligence without being shot down. Companies like General Atomics Aeronautical Systems are creating some of the most effective tools on the battlefield, and I am excited to see what the future holds for unmanned aviation.
When the conditions are dangerous, or the operating areas are rough or inaccessible, unmanned aircraft such as the MQ-9A Reaper, the Gray Eagle 25M or the MQ-9B SkyGuardian are ready to go. #MQ9 #GrayEagle25M #MQ9B Read here: https://lnkd.in/gfShXvhf

Real Jets, Real Autonomy. In a groundbreaking series of tests this July, Shield AI, alongside partners Kratos Defense and Security Solutions and Parry Labs, demonstrated the future of air combat. High-performance, autonomously controlled MQM-178 Firejet drones flew alongside human-piloted jets in tightly confined airspace, collaboratively executing complex maneuvers with precision. CEO @ LOCT Solutions & Knight Sky Protection | Redefining Hostile Response Trainer - Security and Liability Expert
Over a decade ago, my belief was expressed that drones (sUAS) were going to make a huge impact around the world. Today, it’s been proven that is the case on almost every single aspect of life. Inspections, public safety, military, deliveries, photography and the list goes on. This video showcases an interesting development where the US military is using sophisticated scopes mounted on rifles to train and shoot drones down, but using “drone buster” to interdict them. As mentioned in the video below, there’s layers to the proper response to what kind of drone threat it is. The video below poses an interesting question: what are your thoughts on an AI system, designed to use a swarm (group) of drones to attack a target? How would this be prevented and/or stopped?
