Tips to make the most of the upcoming London & Area Works Job Fair: ~ Adjust your expectations, job fairs are networking events rather than focusing exclusively on available postions can you develop contacts to learn about future opportunities and how to position yourself to be a top candidate ~Research companies that are attending so you know what they do and what roles they have in their workforce, and apply ahead for relevant jobs ~Prepare your 'elevator pitch', resume/LinkedIn, and a contact card so that when you talk to representatives you can show you are a serious candidate and ask for their card to follow up with them after the job fair

Earlier today…another employment weekly job fair at The Cherry Hill. It was a sigh of relief to notice new fresh new exhibitors/recruiters in attendance. Another great thing regarding the fair….even though there were the same companies that exhibited/recruited as previous job fairs it was a sigh of relief to see new individuals. While leaving the fair developed the mentality of fresh new faces/new individuals to meet, a sign of potential of new things on the horizon/the potential that good things are on their way as far as VoiceOver opportunities.
