_IT IS OKAY TO BE ARROGANT_
Yeah,
You heard me right.
You see this thing about being humble and not blowing your own trumpet,
It's not for everyone.
Most especially if you are building your career.
You shouldn't be humble about your skills.
How come you're competent at what you do,
Yet you keep quiet,
And watch someone else take up the same thing you know you could do better.
It's really okay to be arrogant about your skills.
And of course,
There are professional ways to put yourself out there - showcasing your skills.
📌 Speak confidently wherever you find yourself.
📌 Volunteer for roles that is centered around your skill.
📌 Deliver your best when rendering your services, either voluntary or otherwise.
📌 Speak about what you do,
Where you can,
When you can, and
To whom you can.
Ma'am Rosemary Chioma Obi, once said:
"Nobody knows a silent expert".
(In Sir Val Okafor's voice),
It's another beautiful day to KNOCK on those doors.🥰
Would you rather be arrogant or humble about your skills??
I'd love to hear from you.🥰
