10 ELDs were revoked for use this week by the FMSCA. One company that was revoked received no prior notice from the FMSCA that their devices were out of compliance and further stated that their ELDs were in over 1,000 trucks. Now lets say a fleet owner has a concentration of these ELDs in their fleet. They now have 60 days to get a whole new ELD system, and that is not a simple feat. This is the intersection of knowing where your business ends and the governments regulations begin.
