It has been providing nourishment for generations. According to the United Nations, agricultural development is one of the most powerful tools to combat extreme poverty, boost prosperity, and feed the global population. India, a predominantly agrarian country and a few decades ago, India’s agriculture industry was the backbone of its economy, contributing a staggering 75% to the country’s GDP. Fast forward to the present day, and this number has dwindled to a mere 18.3% (2022-2023). We are unable to enable business of agriculture and make it a lucrative profession for youth. 10moAbsolutely right. Agriculture is going to sideline n secondary job among the youth. They aren't prefer their interest in it. This is not wrong to say that it is dark era for agriculture .
