Here is the success story of an aunt who got admitted to KITES Senior Care, HBR Center on the 27th of August, 2023. She had a case of left-side Hemiplegia with complete dependency on her bed mobility and ADL's. Initially, she exhibited extreme sadness, low motivation, low self-esteem, and denial of the therapy. With our physiotherapy team's continuous efforts and dedication, Aunty grasped her trust and confidence in the team, which paved the way for intensive rehabilitation and enhanced her quality of life and independence. It took 7 months to successfully transform her from complete dependency into supervised independence. Never let others' dictate your fees. There are substantial problems with these 3 revenue streams. 1. Preferred Provider Agreements - where do I even start...? 2. EPC/Medicare - completely undervalues our services, encapsulated by the top down approach. 3. Third party fixed costs (yes, this definitely includes NDIS work!) I know what you're saying - I'd love to build a caseload of majority private clients BUT there's no demand. I disagree. There is little demand from private clients to be treated in 20 min, in-out clinics. Or in hole in the wall spaces. But there is always demand for premium therapy. So make a push towards premium. And start working these revenue streams out of your system. What happened when I did this? Well... Our remaining patients were those who truly valued our services.
