We’re here to make everyone's life a little easier… Between NHS physiotherapist shortages and overworked clinicians, current waiting times for MSK treatment can be up to 20 weeks. However, this is no longer the case for patients and clinicians in Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust (SWB). Through working with us, clinicians in SWB can now refer patients to the right treatment option straight away – whether that be face-to-face treatment or self-management via Phio Engage, our digitally-supported MSK self-management platform. As a result, clinicians in SWB have more time for appointments with complex patients, and patients who do not require face-to-face appointments now have faster access to self-management options, ensuring they still receive the care they need.
