MedVector recently attended the SOS Conference in Tucson and came away with a surprising takeaway. The concept of "pushing back" is necessary in so many aspects of life, from buying a car to paying taxes. Even in relationships, a little bit of "push back" can go a long way. However, we often avoid "pushing back" because we fear being seen as difficult or ungrateful. But the truth is, everyone appreciates it when it's done properly. This is especially true for clinical trial sites. We need to start advocating for innovation by "pushing back" on outdated practices and embracing new ones. Sites have more power than we realize, and it's time to use it. Let's say "no" to paper informed consents and "yes" to virtual visits. Let's embrace new technology and methods without getting stuck in the past. If we don't "push back," nothing will change. So let's start advocating for innovation and make a difference! #SOSConference #Innovation #ClinicalTrials #PushingBack Dan Sfera, Brad Hightower, Daniel Fox, MPH, PhD

Delve Health is thrilled to be part of the SOS Save Our Sites Conference this year, showcasing innovative solutions to the challenges facing clinical trial sites today. We're proud to have our very own Theresa Dahl represent us, bringing to the forefront how Delve Health is poised to address the critical issues of recruitment and personnel shortages. Our mission at Delve Health has always been to streamline clinical trials, enhance recruitment processes, and ensure the smooth operation of trials from start to finish. The challenges sites face are real – from finding the right participants to ensuring they have the skilled staff necessary to carry out these vital studies. We believe that with the right support, we can overcome these hurdles together. Theresa will be sharing insights on how our solutions not only improve the recruitment process but also support site staff in managing their workload more efficiently. This is about more about creating a community of support and innovation that benefits everyone involved in the clinical trial process. Join us at SOS to learn more about how we can work together to make clinical trials smoother, increase recruitment, and ensure that every trial is set up for success. Let's tackle these challenges head-on and pave the way for a future where clinical trials are more accessible, efficient, and effective. See you there! #SOSConference #ClinicalTrials #InnovationInHealthcare #DelveHealth

20 minutes of your time well spent
A few weeks ago I was honoured to be invited to talk about health care improvement-by-design at an NHS IMPACT event. Afterwards I was asked if the session had been recorded. What a great question! It hadn't and that reminded me just how unproductive a traditional conference can be as way to share learning. So, I recorded a narrated video of the 20 minute talk and shared with some people that I trust to give warts-and-all feedback. And they did 🤔. Thankfully it was not all warts! So, I will be brave and share the video and invite feedback from anyone. The link is https://lnkd.in/eUfDPusi.

The Holyrood Connect's Digital Health and Care Conference concluded with a call for bold and innovative solutions to address the decline in healthcare quality in Scotland. Speakers like Carrie Thomson, Aaron Slater, Dr. Irene Mackintosh and Nigel Gallear shared inspiring examples of digital inclusion and coproduction projects making a difference, from empowering homeless individuals with digital skills to leveraging data in driving decision making. Also, I got to learn about the amazing work Kooth Digital Health (United Kingdom) is doing from Kerry Smith. With over 20 years experience in the NHS, Kooth Digital Health provides anonymous, effective and personalised mental health for care for children, young people and adults. The conference left me pondering the power of collaboration and collective innovation. To truly move forward, we must create spaces where diverse voices and expertise can come together. It's time to break down silos and build bridges - not just digital ones, but human ones too. Really looking forward to building relationships with innovators, investors and researchers here in Scotland. #Holyroodconnect #FutureofHealthcare #DigitalHealth #DigiHealthCare24

15th of March marks the second annual Long COVID Awareness Day. As a company firmly rooted in supporting patients with Long COVID in the NHS, clinicians and researchers globally through our C19-YRS platform since 2020, this is a particularly important day for ELAROS. Through near-daily interactions with clinical teams, researchers, and patients advocates, we recognise the complex challenges facing individuals and their relatives, healthcare systems, and the global workforce, with an estimated 2 million people experiencing Long COVID in the U.K. alone and 65 million worldwide. However, with spreading awareness, consistent self-management, clinical support, and further investment into clinical services and research, there is hope for people with Long COVID. We are proud to have supported over 20,000 patients, 60+ NHS organisations and research teams in Australia and the United Kingdom, and enabling access to an online public repository of support resources on https://c19-yrs.me/ However, we recognise the limited reach of our solution who are unable to access health services both here in the U.K. and internationally, and have some exciting news coming soon that aims to provide remote holistic support to anybody that needs it. If you would like to hear more and join us on this journey, please contact us on open-oh@elaros.com #longcovidawarenessday #longcovid #postcovidsyndrome

My career has centered around integrating social care into healthcare. Through research, education and practice, I developed, along with an amazing team of health professionals, a novel, highly effective approach to addressing social needs called "Screen and Intervene." Today, I'm proud to announce the launch of Docs for Health, a platform built on this paradigm! We address the social needs of patients in real time. Because healthcare involves more than just medicine. #socialdeterminantsofhealth #healthcareequity
We are thrilled to officially announce the launch of Docs for Health! 🌟 At Docs for Health, we're not just a team, but a diverse family of healthcare professionals united by a common goal: addressing patients' social needs. From community health workers to social workers, lawyers to physicians, our journey began with a shared mission and a passion for addressing social risk factors from within the health system. What started as providing free resources has now blossomed into a comprehensive platform empowering health systems nationwide. But amidst our growth, we remain rooted in real-world experiences, understanding the critical importance of addressing social determinants of health. We are proud to offer a HIPAA-secure platform that identifies patients' social needs and provides intervention tools right at the point of care. By enabling health systems to routinely address social risk factors, we pave the way for improved outcomes and significant cost savings. Join us in revolutionizing healthcare through social care integration! 💪 #socialdeterminantsofhealth #healthcare #healthadvocacy #hipaacompliant #socialcare
