💡 How has the preference for MBA study modes shifted over the past year, and what implications does this have for business schools? A recent study conducted by CarringtonCrisp in association with EFMD Global reveals a significant shift in preferences among prospective MBA students, marking a departure from traditional in-person study. Contrary to the previous year's trend, where a considerable proportion favoured on-campus learning, the latest findings indicate a decline in enthusiasm for this mode of education. Marc Ethier of Poets&Quants has an overview of the survey, which also highlights a growing openness among candidates towards alternative qualifications, including professional certifications, AI and master's degrees. andrew crisp #mba #businesseducation #hybridlearning #ai

The world is still unlocking and getting familiar with the potential of artificial intelligence in the landscape of higher learning and education. LLM can be a key factor in the growth and development of higher education in India. It can also play a leading role in making higher education more accessible to students. Automated tutoring offers immediate responses to student queries, guiding them through complex concepts and providing personalized feedback. LLMs can deliver personalised, targeted, and adaptive education to bridge educational gaps and reduce inequalities. They have the potential to enhance collaborative learning and improve the effectiveness of project-based learning, fostering creativity and critical thinking skills. AI models offer the opportunity to automate various administrative tasks in education to reduce the workload of educators, allowing them to focus more on teaching. The data collected and processed by LLMs can provide valuable insights to aid educational institutions in decision-making processes and policy development. The application of LLM empowers learning and development outside of traditional educational structures, fostering a culture of lifelong learning. As technology continues to advance, these models are set to become an integral part of the educational landscape, revolutionizing how we learn and teach. It’s crucial to approach this integration mindfully, ensuring that AI serves to enhance education for all learners, without compromising their privacy or perpetuating harmful biases. #artificialintelligence #highereducation #aiineducation #edtech #llm #studentsuccess #educationaltechnology #futureoflearning #digitaltransformation #collaborativelearning #datadriveneducation

Imagination is more important than Knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the World. Albert Einstein
Educational institutions (K-12 to Graduate) are missing the message of GenAI if it is viewed as an existential threat rather than a sustainable opportunity. The transformative effect of GenAI will be to create enormous need for "reskilling" employees in every industry and at every level. Morgan Stanley analysts project $200 Billion in increased value (through efficiencies gained) and $16 Billion in increased revenue from training employees for the GenAI economy. Turning a nose up to these economic enhancements will only further the decline of educational institutions who choose to insist on traditional pedagogy and operational practices as "the only right way". On the other hand, innovative educational leadership will seize these opportunities to build sustainable business models while improving the quality and the scope of educational offerings to a much broader and deeper market of students.

Embracing Digital Transformation: A Head Teacher's Perspective As head teachers, the ultimate mission is to steer their schools towards continual improvement. Yet, in this digital age, we find many at a crossroads, often sceptical about the true cost versus benefits of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in education. While AI and digital tools promise to revolutionise education, questions linger. Can these tools truly enhance learning, or do they simply add to the noise? Their scepticism is not unfounded. They've seen tech solutions that are more flash than substance, failing to address the core needs of thei students and staff. However, when wielded wisely, technology can become a powerful ally. Through data analysis simulations—considering factors like device access at home, family size, socio-economic status, and student well-being—headteachers can uncover invaluable insights. These analytics allow them to tailor educational experiences to each student's unique journey. Imagine learning accelerators that serve as personalised tutors, meticulously tracking each student's progress and adapting in real-time. This isn't a distant dream; it's a rapidly approaching reality. With fair and equitable access to devices, every student can benefit from this personalised attention, ensuring no one is left behind. For their dedicated staff and teachers, technology promises a reduction in administrative burdens. Simplification and automation of processes mean less time on paperwork and more on what truly matters—teaching and supporting education. A reduced workload could even lead to a shorter working week, allowing for a healthier work-life balance. A headteachers role is not just to ensure that their school delivers the curriculum but to prepare their students for the future. By embracing right technological tools, headteachers can build a foundation that equips their students with the skills and mindset to thrive in an ever-evolving world. This isn’t the future - it’s the present. If headteachers are not actively investigating the potential and finding ways to capitalise on Digital Technology and AI, they are placing themselves at a significant disadvantage to their colleagues who are. #DigitalTransformation #EducationLeadership #HeadTeachers #AIinEducation #EdTech #SchoolImprovement #DataDriven #PersonalisedLearning #EquitableAccess #TechInSchools #FutureReady #TeacherWorkload #InnovationInEducation *This article was created by Copilotand subsequently edited by me, based on notes hastily jotted down during a moment of inspiration amidst my 10k run.*

Founder & CEO @ eQOURSE | Building Impactful Elearning content | Helping edtech companies with educational content services | K12 content development services| Instructional design services | Curriculum planning
By 2030, up to 375 million workers that is 14% of the global workforce may need to switch occupations due to AI and automation. In this new era, success won't be measured by degrees alone but by the skills we develop to stay ahead of technological change. Students will need to develop a blend of technical, soft, and digital skills to remain competitive in an ever-evolving job market. Collaboration between schools, universities, and EdTech companies is crucial to equip students with the right skills. Here’s how we can move forward: 1. Collaboration for future-focused skill training - Schools and EdTech companies must form strategic partnerships to integrate AI-focused skill training into curricula. Universities can leverage EdTech tools to offer personalized learning experiences, while EdTech companies can ensure they align their content with industry needs. 2. Investment in AI-based education solutions For a successful shift toward AI-powered education, both public and private stakeholders need to invest heavily in AI-driven education technologies like adaptive learning platforms and automated assessment tools. Equally important is teacher training. Educators need ongoing professional development to integrate AI technologies effectively into their classrooms. 3. Curriculum redesign for the future Project-based learning should take center stage, allowing students to apply knowledge across disciplines and solve real-world problems. By redesigning curricula to focus on interdisciplinary approaches, students can develop the critical, creative, and analytical thinking required to thrive in an AI-dominated workforce. In essence, the future of education depends on our ability to adapt and innovate. What steps do you think should be prioritized to ensure future-focused learning? Share your thoughts in comments!
