#Cooling_Towers Cooling towers are an essential component in many industrial processes and facilities, playing a crucial role in maintaining optimal operating conditions and ensuring the efficient functioning of equipment. These towers are used to remove excess heat generated during various industrial processes by transferring it to the atmosphere through the process of evaporation or convection.

Excessive purge time and low pressure centrifugal chillers When is the purge time too much? There are several different opinions as to when is too much purge time on a low pressure chiller. Some points to remember when deciding whether a leak search and/or repair is needed on these types of machines: 1) Document your machine’s purge time. If the time is trending longer, the leak has gotten worse or another leak has developed 2) Monitoring purge times can help find the leak. Does it purge more or less when the chiller is running? Example: Many times, the condenser is near or above positive pressure in reference to the atmosphere. If there is less purge time during running, this can point toward a high side leak. 3) No matter what brand or type of purge, no purge is perfect. Some refrigerant is exhausted with the non-condensables. If you are excessively purging, you are losing refrigerant that can add up 4) Even if the chiller is operating well with a purge that is exhausting excessively, there is a risk. If the purge machine itself were to have a failure, it won’t take long before those non-condensables stack up and begin to affect chiller performance. Typical faults and shutdowns related to non-condensables in a low pressure chiller. Excessive surge faults High motor amps Current limit faults High pressure faults

#Vibration_isolator This device is very important in all projects. It is used to absorb vibrations resulting from large equipment that has moving parts inside it to prevent the transmission of these vibrations to the pipes or ducts connected to them such AHU, Package unit, Chiller, Pump, .... etc. In low-budget projects, we use a piece of rubber in its place.

Why do I prefer screw chillers with water-cooled condensers for large scale, especially for industrial and critical, applications? First and most - for their durability and long service life. Most of them are semihermetic, so can be repaired in case of trouble. Not to mention, repairing a screw compressor is more environmentally friendly than selling broken scrolls for scrap. Second - for their performance. Despite of compact size, screw compressors deliver substantial cooling capacities. Two screws or twelve scrolls for the same cooling capacity, which system is more reliable? You know the answer. Third - they are much more effective for low temperature applications. And about water-cooled condensers. They provide lower condensing temperatures and, accordingly, bigger cooling capacities at the same weather conditions. They allow to utilize up to 100% of wasted heat and to use much more energy efficient cooling towers or adiabatic coolers instead of regular air heat exchangers. RTP #Refrigerant Transfer #Pumps Overview The Refrigerant Transfer Pumps (RTPs) are volumetric pumps designed by #FT s.r.l. to #pressurize and #transfer refrigerant in its liquid state, driven by compressed air. Key Features: - Design: Cylindrical movement for efficient liquid refrigerant pressurization and transfer. - Installation: Positioned near tanks or storage systems, using compressed air and pneumatic valves to draw and compress the refrigerant. - Flow Control: Connected to the refrigerant line via unidirectional valves to prevent backflow. - Safety Mechanism: Equipped with a safety valve set to 40 bar to release excess pressure into the ventilation circuit, preventing overpressure in the delivery line. These pumps ensure reliable and safe refrigerant transfer, accommodating the specific volume changes due to temperature fluctuations. FRIGOSYSTEM S.R.L. DRY COOLERS have the advantage of being able to operate without water consumption eliminating all the typical problems of traditional cooling towers because the system works in closed circuit (no air-water contact), without losing control in efficiency. All DC systems can be included into existing systems and controlled by a new generation microprocessor that also allows the insertion of a modulating three-way valve on the system for further savings. As closed circuit systems, dry coolers deliver several benefits compared to wet cooling towers, including lower initial costs and maintenance (no tank to maintain), improved system reliability, and increased up time. Being equipped with an evaporative pre-cooling, dry coolers offer the efficiency which is, as for wet-type cooling towers, only limited by wet bulb temperature. In light of the above, the most significant factor in the choice between open-circuit cooling tower and dry cooler remains the system capacity. Continuous introduction of new efficient technologies such as microchannel heat exchangers, EC fans, intelligent controls, and others let consider dry coolers as an effective part of new environmental friendly thermal systems. As a summary, these are the advantages: Low initial, operating, maintenance costs; Ability to work in any climate conditions, from hot and humid to extreme cold; Wide variety of unit designs that provides the possibility to suit it for nearly all environments and applications; Minimal system fouling and process water contamination. No water loss. #drycooler #efficiency

Maximize Industrial Chiller Efficiency This Summer * Schedule Regular Service - Ensure your industrial water chiller operates efficiently by scheduling regular servicing. This enhances performance and extends the chiller's lifespan, guaranteeing optimal cooling throughout the hot summer months. Stay proactive and enjoy a worry-free summer. * Clean Condensers - Regularly clean condenser coils to maintain proper heat transfer and optimal performance. Dirt buildup forces your chiller to work harder, reducing cooling capacity and increasing energy costs. Keep your system clean to minimize unnecessary expenses. * Monitor for Leaks - Conduct routine visual inspections of connections, joints, valves, and pipes for signs of moisture or pooling, which may indicate leaks. Detecting refrigeration leaks often requires a qualified technician. Promptly address any identified leaks to prevent further damage and maintain efficiency. For servicing, maintenance, or leak detection, contact us or your service provider to ensure your chiller is ready for the summer heat. #industrialchillers #chillerdivision #professionalservice
