🚩 UpVision is involved in the development of an innovative drone detection system. As part of the MEDuSA project, UpVision experts are working with Czech and Italian partners on a system that detects drones within a specific perimeter. They are testing a completely groundbreaking method based on two components: ➡ smaller sensors that are deployed in a defined perimeter, ➡ a control centre where algorithms are processed and evaluated to detect drone movement. Unlike radar, the system can detect drones in any weather, including fog or at night. It should therefore operate in 24/7 mode. Currently, smaller GNSS sensors are being tested and their functionality will be verified in cooperation with Prague Airport.
