Common customer query revolves around “Can I customize my accessories to match my unique style?” In today's business setting, customers need personalization in their shopping experiences and most businesses strive to meet customer demands. Personalization is a key driver of customer loyalty and brand differentiation. And just like that, our client, Stoney Clover Lane lacked a customization feature, hindering their ability to stand out in a competitive market. With our innovative solution, we transformed the brand's online platform into a hub for personalized shopping experiences and became the first to introduce this feature to Shopify. Luseta is sold in multiple digital and brick-and-mortar stores; while this is great for brand awareness, sales on their flagship ecommerce store have suffered. Their store lacked a lot of functionality they desired and didn’t feel like a true destination for visitors. To maximize profits, they needed to give people a reason to shop in their store instead of through channels like Amazon. #webdesign #webdevelopment #ui #ux #ecommerce #shopify #userexperiencedesign #userinterfacedesign

Bill makes a fantastic point here and in my opinion it shouldn't be a controversial take. Once you have strong traffic if you aren't optimizing for experience your ad spend for new traffic is likely just going down the drain. Now this doesn't mean you should stop ad spend entirely, it just means it's more important to improve the other experiences which mean more for conversion. If your site is slow, doesn't easily support a great mobile experience or you can't find the product in the ad that brought you there in the first place you're not going to convert on your ad spend. Put the focus on the experience and the conversions will come.
For some reason, this is often a "controversial opinion," but in terms of growth opportunities for eCommerce companies, assuming you already have a healthy amount of site traffic, you're better off focusing your resources on improving conversion rates than just spending more money on advertising. #ux #optimization #CRO #ecommerce #growthstrategies

On average, 70% of customers in the checkout process will drop out. (I came up with a figure of 75% in this video, so not a bad guess…!) You’d think that once the visitor has put something in the cart, entered the checkout process to complete the purchase, everything would be fine. However… The number one reason is extra costs applied in checkout. In this chat with Lindsey Burden, I discuss why this happens, and give a real life example, which had me and the company I was buying from completely stumped… #cro #ux #ecommerce #analytics #sme #ga4 --- Found this useful? ✅ Want to learn more?👇🏼 ℹ See more on my LinkedIn profile 🔔 Ring the notification bell on my profile 🆓 Check out my free resources 👥 Connect with me

Carhartt's tabbed promoted filter tiles work nicely on desktop and mobile. I suspect most users don't "see" the tabs, but for those that do, it gives a way to explore product attribute options visually 👀 vs. fiddling with filter menus Their #merchandising team has done a great job category-by-category, choosing the attributes that matter to each product type (and not all categories include the widget) #ecommerce #dtc #retail #UX #UIUX #CRO #webdesign
