Filling your team's earned media gaps to put your clients in the press.

Who sounds more trustworthy: Charlie or Claire? Charlie: “We are an amazing organization that is changing the world.” Claire: “We have won awards for our work, and CNBC featured us for making a difference.” My take: Claire is far more trustworthy because she’s using other people and organizations to validate her company’s work. Third-party validation builds trust with target audiences. This can include: 1. Excellent Yelp reviews. 2. Positive press coverage. 3. Influencer endorsements. It also spreads your message far more quickly. Charlie can only make so many speeches, post so many times on social media, and write so much content. But hundreds of happy clients, dozens of media outlets, and 10 well-connected influencers can spread Claire’s message a thousand-fold faster. Third-party validation is also a bulwark against attacks. Charlie will defend his work; Claire can rely on what everyone else is saying about her organization. How are third-party validators helping you build trust with target audiences? #Influencers #SocialMedia #Prospects
