Our community is built on the pillars of respect, trust, and care. These values are not just words; they are the guiding principles that inspire us to be our best selves. When we respect each other, we create a culture that celebrates diversity and embraces inclusivity. When we trust in each other, we collaborate with confidence, knowing that we are working towards a common goal. When we care for each other, we create a safe and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to make a difference. By embodying these values, we create a community where anything is possible, and where we can achieve great things together.

After reading Edelman's Business and Racial Justice Special Report, it's clear that employers have a huge opportunity to make positive change, build trust, and gain loyalty in the U.S. by investing in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Respondents agreed that a well-structured diversity program and inclusive work culture can attract and retain talent regardless of age, gender, income, or community. If there is a sense of belonging, it transcends political lines, leading to more employee advocacy. So, what are the report takeaways? ➡ Employers are the most trusted institution to create lasting change ➡ DEI programs benefit all employees when everyone has a voice ➡ Customers buy from brands that respond to racial injustice ➡ Employee loyalty is dependent on whether DEI commitments are fulfilled #CustomerRelations #Management #DEI
An inclusive work culture with a well-supported diversity program is critical. In the United States, employees feel more connected and committed to organizations that prioritize DEI initiatives compared to those with fewer efforts. Moreover, workplace DEI initiatives are widely regarded as one of the most effective ways to combat racism. This is such an important read. With philanthropic efforts centering Indigenous inclusion as a funding expectation, we are seeing organizations, corporations and movements bypassing authentic engagement and integration of Indigenous thought into practice. Reinventing and perpetuating the colonial system.
Well written article that captures the reality of many First Nation, Metis and Inuit Peoples Professionals, Tradespeople, Frontline workers, ...) who put everything they have into making a difference for their Families, Community, our Nations and our Country. There is so much more work to do to acknowledge the value and positive impact diversity and inclusion can have on on our society.
