To paraphrase what a divorce attorney once told me, "None of the spouses ends up winning at the conclusion of a divorce. It is the attorneys who win." Instead of caring about the best interest of the children, instead of preventing, detecting or addressing parental alienation, our family court system and other agencies create a fertile ground for it. We need a reform of our family court system. We collectively need to counteract the lucrative process that a divorce has become. The price (emotional, social, spiritual, economical...) too many children of divorce pay in this country is unquantifiable.
