In every agency you will find leechers who do the bare minimum but will survive because their part of the work is done by people who are passionate about their job. The people who take ownership and want to do more will be rewarded with more work, which they crave - but eventually this 'reward' turns into a burnout. And if you have a culture that supports leechers, don't be surprised when the passionate folks leave or if a wave of new leadership makes it impossible for leechers to survive. Supporting leechers is not kindness, it's actually detrimental to the workplace, hard working folks and even the leechers in the long run. #workculture #kaamchor

NEVER THOUGHT PART OF MY AUDIENCE WOULD BE PENGUINS... :-) Since I founded Just on purpose, I have worked at the beach, in a bunker, on a boat, in a fortress, on a mountain, on a river, and in the sea. But I had never worked in a zoo! We had an amazing day with this leadership team, we had to do quite some stuff inside but also got a bit of time to see some of the animals and work outside despite being a bit chilly. Being in a different setting helps your people relax, open up and work better together. And if you combine that with some time outside, it gets even better. What did we work on? Building trust, managing constructive feedback, making it part of their process and improving their accountability.
