The final meeting in the European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education’s Building Resilience through Inclusive Education Systems (BRIES) activity took place in Brussels in November 2023. During the meeting, the BRIES team was joined by representatives from Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Estonia, Ireland and Sweden – the participating Agency member countries. Key moments included the presentation of Guidance for Establishing a Culture of Effective Communication in Education and reflections on the activity which started in 2021 with the aim of supporting education systems to learn from crises. Every Child deserves an Education

“Education means peace” I am greatful to live in a world where such concepts are expressed, and where actions are implemented in order to achieve practical goals. Myself, I had the privilege of studying in three different countries thanks to the Erasmus Programme, and I am far from the last stop of my multicultural journey. Actually, this is the very beginning! In the future I see cooperation, development and humanity that go beyond national borders, ethnicity, gender and everything else that make each person beautifully unique. In order to achieve such vision, the fear of the unknown must be overcome. And in my opinion, such fear comes from lack of education. Thus, making education and culture reach as many people as possible is fundamental if we aspire to develop as a society. Starting with children. The way children are raised today, shape the way our world will be tomorrow. #Education #EuropeanCommission #Erasmus+
