Consumer first! When EABL CEO & MD Jane Karuku joined the business, she and the team noticed that the consumer was no longer defined by their choice of beer or spirits brand, but by their pursuit to celebrate life. She explains how this shift in strategy led to the growth of the business. #EABLAt100 #TuskerAt100

Training our modern Trade Partners is crucial, as they are the first point of contact with consumers when they step into the liquor section at supermarkets. A fortnight ago, we launched our very first Shelf Stockers training program, guiding our off-trade partners through an intensive two-day session. The training focused on: 1. Our Reserve and Premium Journey 2. Understanding category value 3. Learning the art of perfect serves 4. Demonstrating how to make simple, delicious mixed drinks at home. Led by our Modern Trade Key Accounts Manager, Wilfred Wekesa, MBA, alongside Reserve Brand Ambassadors paul Gachoi and Ndoto Babu, the session was a great success. The team left fully empowered and well-equipped to provide exceptional service to our consumers in trade. A big thank you to our Off Trade Channel Manager Robert Shigoli, Innovations Manager Caroline Wanja, and the entire Emerging Channels team for making this initiative a reality. #TradeTraining #Offtrade365Essentials #RetailExcellence #Teamwork

Last week, EABL had the privilege of hosting Diageo’s newly appointed Global Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Nik Jhangiani. His visit included a tour of our Biomass and Brewhouse, where he commended the impressive transformation and investment the business has undertaken in recent years. Following this, Nik, alongside our Commercial Teams, conducted a trade visit, exploring several premium and emerging businesses while enjoying a cold drink of our favorite brand with customers! He acknowledged the significant strides made in these areas and challenged the team to enhance execution at the point of sale. Mr. Nik Jhangiani, hosting you was a true honour, and we are committed to putting your guidance into action.
