Meet Ariana Rogers-Smith, a microfiber technician turned innovation process manager at Eastman. Ariana's passion for STEM was sparked by her family's long lineage of nurses. Her passion for innovation and helping people led her to contribute to the development of Naia™ cellulosic fibers. Now, as an innovation manager, Ariana uses her expertise to manage the pipeline of new products and projects to help more people in a different way. With such a fascinating journey in STEM, we asked Ariana to tell us more about her experiences as a woman of color (WOC). The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga College of Engineering & Computer Science - come see us on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in room 426 (Maytag room) in the Engineering, Math and Computer Science building.
