Congrats to Debby Ganz, our Marquette branch’s Logistics Coordinator, for her August I.C.E Award nomination! Here are a couple of submissions from her colleagues highlighting how much she contributes to our success: "Debby is one of the hardest workers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She goes above and beyond each and every day. Her job is not easy, but she makes it happen. Tracking every single shipment inbound/outbound, coordinating movers, finding missing equipment, handling all damage claims—I could go on and on about everything she does. She is a HUGE support to all of us and has so much knowledge and experience in her field. Definitely a fantastic resource for our organization. She’s a wonderful coworker, friend, resource, support and we couldn't do it without her!" "Debby demonstrates exceptional work in managing our tracking and shipping logistics on a daily basis. Her dedication and expertise is unmatched and works relentlessly to ensure shipments are getting to where they need to go and everyone involved is well informed. Without her meticulous records and communication efforts, the installation timeline that we see today simply would not exist. The number of times she has saved the day by making arrangements on such short notice or solving complex shipping issues and errors makes her an unsung hero!" Debby, we appreciate everything you do behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly! Thank you for all you've done to earn this nomination.

My first thought when I saw that we were ranked 29th in the country was WOW!!! There are over 21,000 logistics companies in the US actively working and we are the 29th best! Then it hit me. We still have work to do! I know Axle Logistics has the mentality, the ability, and the passion to be #1 in the country! We have the the best training in the country, the best consultants, the best technology, and the best systems in the country. The difference maker that sets Axle apart is simple, we care about our customers above all. We do not just throw cookie cutter pricing at you and walk away. We don't answer to shareholders with a bottom line. We mold custom based options that will save money, have better efficiency ratings for your KPI's, have clear consistent communication, and we help you grow and evolve around your needs at the same time. Axle Logistics supports the industry, the community, and all of the over 600 employees that work here with more compassion and passion than any other company I have ever seen in all of my years of working. I will finish up by saying this to the 28 companies ahead of us currently... HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🚚 🚛 🚐 🚝 ✈ #buildyourempire #tothemoon #AxleLogistics #Top30 #bestinthebusiness #givingback #ToTheTop #Bestinclass #WeCare #TrueSolutions #LetsEvolveTogether #KPI's #CommunicationMakesTheDifference #HereWeCome
At Axle, we train and we win. Our winning mindset and relentless dedication secured us the 29th ranking on the 2024 Transport Topics Freight Brokerage List. Huge shoutout to our team for their grit and determination - this one is for you. 💪 https://lnkd.in/eFrVZfEk

Senior Account Manager- Pro Carrier | Managing Key & Strategic Accounts | Portfolio worth £14 million | UK & Europe
My son kitted out in his new retro Roy Keane Man Utd shirt - ready to take on anything, just like the legend himself! Roy Keane's infamous "This is your job!" halftime rant might be legendary in the world of football, but his words hold a surprising amount of weight for us in the trenches of the logistics industry. As an Account Manager, you're the quarterback of your client's supply chain. You orchestrate the movement of goods, troubleshoot issues, and anticipate challenges – all while maintaining a cool head under pressure. There's a certain mentality required to thrive in this role, and Keane's words tap right into it: Ownership: Every shipment, every delay, every success – it's all part of your game. Taking ownership builds trust with clients and fosters a sense of accountability within your team. Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipate issues before they become crises. Don't wait for problems to arise – identify potential roadblocks and develop contingency plans. Relentless Drive: The world of logistics doesn't stop. Be the one pushing the team forward, finding solutions, and getting things done – even when the going gets tough. Just like Keane wouldn't settle for anything less than 100% from his teammates, successful Account Managers don't accept mediocrity. They take ownership, solve problems before they happen, and drive their teams to deliver results. #RoyKeane #ManUtd #ParcelNetwork #AccountManager #Logistics

One of our values over here at Expedock is Intense Work, Intense Rest. This value is all about consistently giving it your all whether you’re in work or outside of it so it becomes a habit. This unprecedented growth happens to coincide with the period of time where I really focused on my fitness goals. 🏋♂️ 💪 Everyday I’m constantly trying to improve being a better CEO, being a better athlete and most importantly providing the best products to our customers. This is for the dockers, the freight forwarders, and the industry. Authentic Business Leader Driving Change | Profit & Loss Accountable | Transformation | Supply Chain | Operations
Thank you Cargotec / MacGregor! After five memorable years it’s time for me to move on. It’s been a great journey and I’m super thankful for all my colleagues who have been making these times so magnificent for me. It all started when MacGregor had bought its biggest competitor TTS and I was hired to lead Merchant business' supply chain restructuring. The scattered organisation and related processes were consolidated under four cornerstones: Sourcing, Purchasing, Logistics and Production Control. After a bumpy start, the change was cemented within one year and had a great contribution to the division's turnaround. After stabilising the Merchant supply chain I was asked to reshape and lead companywide MacGregor sourcing. Strategic sourcing was re-built into three divisions with a centralised matrix category sourcing structure. My last position was to lead MacGregor Spare Parts business with profit & loss accountability. Building on great history of several acquired companies and at the same time streamlining the back-end operations has driven the business to the next level and continues as a great potential. What next? Any proposals? I’m looking for operations / supply chain driven C-suite or VP position, preferably with P&L accountability. Both interim & permanent roles are considered. What I bring with me is great attitude, tested capabilities and genuine energy and will to drive change that engages, inspires, and has impact. If you have any wild ideas, let me know. Don't mind spreading the word. (Picture was taken 3/2023 at Örnsköldsvik, Sweden by © Xiaolei Huang)

My journey thus far at Primeport Logistics has been intensively eventful. In the past one year and some months, it has been nothing short of transformative personal and professional evolution. Has the journey and ascent been a seamless climb? Heck NO! However, it has helped me discover depth of capability within myself. The trials and tasks weren't stumbling blocks but stepping stones , revealing the extent of my potential when met with determination. I have not only navigated various roles but i have mastered them, each project becoming a canvas for me to paint my skills and expertise. My journey as a freight forwarder is not to play at the junior league and rest. Instead it is a continuous ascent. There's more to be done and i am fueled by an insatiable drive to keep going, an unwavering commitment to progress. In this ongoing narrative at Primeport Logistics, the story is not about stopping but about the relentless pursuit of excellence, and i am determined to script many more chapters in this tale of professional achievement. #internationalfreight #logisticssolutions #logistics #freightforwarder #supplychainmanagement #supplychaininnovation
