From 2018 to 2023, we saw a 21% drop in the share of recycled materials consumed globally, with a 28% rise in overall material consumption. In the same time period, there has been a 3x rise in discussions over circular economy. There are a lot of amazing startups working in the circular economy vertical. However, we're still far behind. I'm expecting more innovation and startups in this space. End-of-life supply chain + economic segregation and recycling/repurposing at scale will be huge. #circulareconomy #climate #recycling #startups
