R&D Director Isabelle Jaouen and our cosmetics specialist Lucie Birchler invented this blend, which combines the multiple properties and possibilities of two natural plant-based gums: Suspensoid agent Texturizing agent Emulsion stabilizer Tensor and film-forming effect Silky effect Developing this gum required to rise to the challenge: 🔎 Alland & Robert's R&D had previously focused on the food sector. The team therefore needed to research, learn and equip itself to fully understand expectations in the cosmetics sector. 💄 Demecare is the first range with acacia and sterculia gums designed for the cosmetics market, which adapts to body milks, shower gels, skincare creams, make-up products and more. Over 100 tests were carried out to successfully blend our gums. Our gums are natural, biodegradable, COSMOS certified ingredients suitable for use in vegan formulations – to align with consumers’ desire to move away from controversial ingredients.
