Global Lead - New Globalisation at Economist Impact

I recently had the pleasure to present Economist Impact's latest research on AI at Almedalen, Sweden, focusing on four potential AI futures through 2030. This research delves into the critical uncertainties of global governance and accessibility. The insights shared sparked a great discussion, lots of hand waving, and two key takeaways. First, strong governance and high accessibility in AI are mutually reinforcing. Second, embracing inclusivity, involving civil society and emerging markets, will lead to better outcomes. This last point will be critical for democracies, in particular. For those interested in exploring further, I highly recommend checking out the hub for this research: https://lnkd.in/eftED6yn #AI #Research #Almedalen #Technology #FutureOutlook

What I like most about this research outcome is that No single scenario is “ideal” or “worst-case”. Instead, each captures both the positives and negatives outcomes
