Internships are vital for providing students and young professionals with practical experience and skills that bridge the gap between academia and the workforce. At EDIFICE, we prioritize creating a supportive and enriching internship experience for our interns, offering mentorship, hands-on learning opportunities, and a welcoming environment to help them grow both professionally and personally. We aim to instill a sense of belonging, foster passion for their chosen field, and prepare them for a successful career by providing them with real-world exposure, guidance, and the tools they need to thrive in the workplace. We recently asked them a series of questions and we were truly impressed with their responses, so over the next few weeks stay tuned for more quotes that we couldn't resist sharing! #EDIFICEConstruction #Internships #CareerGrowth

EDIFICE Construction is proud to be featured in a recent article written in the Tribune Papers about one of our latest construction projects—the new main fire station in Hendersonville! Designed by ADW Architects, this transformative project is on track for completion by the end of September 2024, and we are thrilled to provide you with a glimpse into the details. In collaboration with the City City of Hendersonville and ADW Architects, our journey began in Fall 2021, with meticulous planning and programming shaping the project's trajectory. A key part of our planning involved setting up a Temporary Fire Station to accommodate Fire Station #1's operations while maintaining service to the City. Our commitment to the client continued with successfully meeting sustainability goals. This includes installing a rainwater cistern system for irrigation and solar panels for energy efficiency. Sustainable practices extend to permeable paver parking lots, highlighting our eco-conscious approach. The project seamlessly integrates with the recreation of Edwards Park, which now houses the City's new Mini-Golf Course. Despite challenges posed by limited space and busy streets, our team navigated the project successfully, minimizing disruption to nearby schools and the park. This project marks the third partnership between Edifice and the City, following the completion of the Police Department and Parking Deck projects in Fall 2018. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this impactful project that will benefit the Hendersonville community for generations to come. Stay tuned for updates on the grand unveiling of the new main fire station in September! READ THE ARTICLE HERE: https://lnkd.in/e2Y6KUTv #EDIFICEConstruction #HendersonvilleFireStation

Exciting news! We recently broke ground with Canvass Capital to address the increasing storage demand in the Charleston area. This project involves constructing three new buildings totaling 140,000 square feet, two of which will offer climate-controlled storage units. The facility will also undergo enhancements in parking availability and new landscaping to improve its overall appearance and functionality. We are thrilled to be part of this project and play a role in the growth and development of our local economy. #EDIFICEConstruction #CanvassCapital #StorageConstruction #SummervilleSC Barings Canvass Capital Dorchester County Government Signage: Duncan-Parnell Inc.
