#California is home for me. 🌞
It's not where I live (#Australia) nor is it where I was born (#NewYork), but it is where I went to high school, college and had my first work experiences. Where I met my husband, got married and where my family lives. It is the place that speaks to me loudest when I need to listen and makes me feel heard. It is always where I feel my truest self. There is no place like home. ❤️
It is also a beacon for #climate and #cleanenergy #policy and one jurisdiction I lean on to test my thinking on #bigpicture action. 🌎
During my professional reset, I've spent a chunk of time back home in California, taking stock. It's been fascinating to see how many of the clean energy practices I advocated for over the last 15 years have been, well, basically normalized today.
I've decided to share them with you here in the next few weeks and welcome comment and discussion on what works well, what needs work, and where we are to go from here. It seems like a fitting stocktake leading up to 2025. 🗓
We'll call it the #QuarterCenturyClimateReview2025
And with inspiration from California, look at clean energy, #electrification, #circulareconomy, #consumer acceptance, large scale #generation, #batterystorage, #fleet #transition, #battery #recycling, #supplychain #sustainability and many more.
What are you most thinking about in the lead up to 2025?
