Iconic - the Ferrari F40LM! As the ultimate incarnation of the original road-going version, the F40LM is one of the most sought after cars in the world. This particular example is built to Le Mans GTC specs by Michelotto. Upgraded to run at 785hp from the Twin Turbo 2.9L V8, which was higher than the 720hp made by the rest of the F40LM examples. Though it is important to note, Michelotto has stated the car could make more horsepower on higher boost. To achieve all this, both turbos were larger than the road car, as well as larger intercoolers, along with several other key upgrades. The chassis was stiffer, the transmission was upgraded and it has bigger brakes. It is 1 of only 4 Le Mans GTC Specs built by Michelotto and 1 of only 19 LMs built in total. When does a sports car become a supercar❓ Supercar status comes primarily from a 30 percent hike in horsepower v the car it replaces. The Vantage’s 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 now produces 665hp: good for 0-62 mph in 3.5 seconds and 202mph. For the record, that’s more horses than a Porsche 911 Turbo S, Mercedes-AMG GT 63, McLaren Artura, Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo or any flavour of Lamborghini Huracan. Aston Martin has made significant enhancements to improve the Vantage's performance, particularly in cornering. This includes implementing a stiffer bonded aluminium structure and employing various advanced chassis technologies such as Bilstein adaptive shock absorbers, an electronic differential, and a six-axis accelerometer for continuous monitoring of the car's movements. Unicorn status - the legendary McLaren F1 LM! One of only 6 ever made, five of which are customer cars and the other being the XP1 LM prototype at the McLaren Technology Center. The LM is widely considered the ultimate F1 car built to commemorate the five GTRs that finished at Le Mans in 1995. One of them won the race. The LM has the same 6.1L BMW V12 from the 1995 F1 GTR, producing 680 hp thanks to the removal of race-mandated restrictors and a new TAG software remap. This is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. On the outside, the LM is finished in McLaren's historic Papaya Orange. However, it is important to note that two examples (LM1 and LM4) were not papaya orange, but rather black with blue, yellow and silver stripes. They were originally built for the Sultan of Brunei, along with LM5 which remained Papaya Orange. LM2 (the car shown in the photo) is owned and shown by Mouse Motors. And LM3 is owned by Ralph Lauren. #AHECollection: Ferrari 330 GTS Ferrari introduced their 330 GTC in 1966. The two-seat coupe was an elegant Pininfarina-designed coupe, followed later that same year by the 330 GTS Spyder, providing both closed and open options. The car’s independent rear suspension, light steering, and 300 hp made it an exceedingly refined and capable car on the road. In fact, it has been described as one of the greatest GT cars ever produced by many an automotive luminary. The 330 GTS was more sporting than the 2+2, making it one of the most streetable and liveable Ferraris of the era. One of the only 99 units produced, this car was ordered in a unique colour combination, representing the only one produced with this specification.
