Next month we will be collecting and collating our carbon emissions data for 2023/2024. Last year we captured our first carbon emissions data (2022/2023) and became a carbon neutral business by offsetting in support of the Woodland Fund™ through Carbon Neutral Britain™. This #earthday our thoughts are on how we can make internal changes that will have a positive impact, not just on our local Stortford community, but also the communities around our projects and beyond. One thing we’re particularly focusing on is our carbon reduction: Our environmental team is working hard to push us beyond the carbon-neutral status we achieved in September 2023 (🥳) and into a more robust review of our in-house & project-wide practices as part of our Carbon Reduce Programme. With this in mind, our next report will be based on our total carbon footprint for 2023 - we’re hoping to see carbon reduction year on year, a big goal when we work in an industry responsible for nearly 40% of global energy-related CO2 emissions! #carbon #carbonreduction #carbonneutral #ukconstruction #londonconstruction

🌱 Today marks a milestone: the 95th day of the year. But what makes today significant? Well, our study with Ramboll teaches us that in just 95 days, we can see the positive carbon-saving effects of our mineral wool in buildings. Because after only three months, the carbon savings from lower heating energy use equal the emissions generated during the manufacturing of our products. So if you integrated our Mineral Wool Insulation into your building on the first day of the year, today is the day you start reaping the benefits of carbon neutrality. This is a great example of our contribution to the decarbonisation of buildings in Europe Learn more about our journey here. 👇 https://hubs.li/Q02rP0TV0 #KnaufInsulation #MineralWool #CarbonNeutral
