According to CNBC the virtual reality market has contracted 40% this year and Meta Reality labs lost $25 billion. It seems virtual reality is having a hard time making a foothold in the market. My pet theory is that's because life isn't miserable enough yet. Give it time. Once the real world becomes too painful, then people will flock to VR in droves.
