Strengthening Leaders & Organizations Through DEI, Emotional Intelligence, & Intercultural Competence
Wrapping up the week with part 4 of a 5 part series on, "How do I keep DEIJ conversations on the table." Keeping DEIJ conversations fresh and forward-moving requires an investment in ongoing and sustained learning experiences. It’s never accomplished through one-and-done training or sporadic learning experiences. To achieve change and success, employees need: ✅Comprehensive training programs, ✅Engaging skills-based workshops ✅Access to thought leaders to share diverse perspectives ✅ Time to practice, apply, & reflect on what they’ve learned and unlearned Advancing DEIJ through education and empowerment is a strategic imperative for any organization committed to creating an inclusive and equitable workplace. By investing in comprehensive education and fostering an environment of empowerment, companies can build a culture where DEIJ is not just a goal but a lived reality. https://lnkd.in/gJTiZXu7 #DEIJEducation #ContinuousLearning

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of A.R Factor Group for the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most dedicated and talented professionals. These years have been transformative, especially in light of our challenges this past year in Israel. This year has tested us in unprecedented ways. Our team has navigated the complexities of the business world and shown immense resilience, with many of our employees stepping up to serve their country in reserve duty. Despite these challenges, the spirit at ARFG has remained unwavering. We are all committed to doing whatever it takes to achieve our goals—both for our clients and the greater good. At ARFG, our work is dynamic and global in nature. We thrive on collaboration and teamwork, knowing that the best solutions arise from collective thinking. Our ability to deliver top-quality results is driven by engaging in open, thoughtful brainstorming sessions, ensuring that every decision is crafted with precision to meet the unique needs of our clients. Personally, this journey has been incredibly rewarding. Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new and tackle fresh challenges. The dynamic environment at ARFG pushes me to grow, and I am grateful to work in a place where continuous learning is part of our culture. The Employer Experience at ARFG is about more than just creating a supportive work environment. It’s about standing by our people, understanding their needs, and fostering a culture where everyone is empowered to contribute. Together, we tackle challenges head-on, blending diverse perspectives to drive innovation and excellence. I’m incredibly proud of our team and the meaningful progress we’ve made together. Here’s to many more years of growth, resilience, and shared success. #EmployerExperience #Leadership #Resilience #Teamwork #Collaboration #Innovation #GlobalWork #Growth #ContinuousLearning#ARFG

Founder of Integration Academy Ängelholm | Impact Entrepreneur Driving Social Integration & Inclusion
Integration isn't just bringing people together – it's creating an environment where every individual can thrive, contribute, and feel valued. As the founder of Integration Academy Ängelholm, my vision goes beyond just building another organization. We're on a mission to create an environment that truly harnesses the power of diverse perspectives and experiences. Another milestone in this mission is a project close to my heart. I am leading and coordinating a community project called Cooking for Integration that has received a grant from the Vision Fund in #Ängelholm! For this project, I've assembled a diverse team whose varied backgrounds and cultures enrich our cooking events and meal sharing experiences. Cooking for Integration allows us to unite people from all backgrounds through the simple yet profound act of sharing meals. Our team's varied cultural heritages have been an incredible asset, infusing our cooking events with a vibrant tapestry of traditions and culinary influences. The richness of our diversity yields immense benefits: - Authentic recipes and creative fusion menus born from global traditions - An inclusive kitchen where every voice is valued in the cooking process - Tailored menus and experiences that resonate across communities - A welcoming atmosphere that attracts engagement across the community mosaic For me, witnessing the bonds forged over steaming pots of flavorful stews or the bonhomie of tearing apart fresh flatbread is soul-nourishing. Our differences unite us as we celebrate the universal language and fellowship of food. I'm deeply committed to this inclusive model because I've seen firsthand how it nurtures connections and appreciation across cultures. Through Cooking for Integration, diversity is our secret ingredient for bringing people together. #visionsfonden

Do your values drive your culture? I’ve read a lot about purpose and values, but I’ve never seen values lived out as the standard like I did this week at 1st Phorm International. Michael Schrader was the first person I met when I walked through the door, and he was mopping the floor. He greeted me with a smile, asked questions, and made me feel welcome. Why? Their core values were not only on the walls but lived out by everyone we met. - Loyalty - Lead by Example - Go the Extra Mile - Stay Humble - Be Disciplined - Accept Responsibility - Take Initiative - Build Positive & Fun Relationships - Always Be Learning - Be Selfless - Be Enthusiastic - Believe The bathrooms were spotless, every desk was organized, the weights were put away perfectly, and the people were genuinely happy. By the third day, the entire Dirt World crew was pitching in to remove the trash, pushing in their chairs, and helping keep the facility clean. There was a sense of pride and respect, as everyone lived by the 1st Phorm standard. Lesson Learned: to drive your culture, live by your values, and set the standard. No exceptions. Thank you to 1st Phorm and all who attended the Dirt World Workshop. #betterdirtworld #iam1stphorm

Director at Baringa Partners | Providing strategic and commercial advice on the opportunities in the energy transition
Very pleased to get this external recognition from #greatplacestowork for the Learning & Development opportunities Baringa provides to our employees, led by Angel Conley and her team. Sharing some of the leasons I have learned about L&D during my career which are also the reasons why I am a Learning & Development Champion in my BU, Market Advisory & Analytics: 1. If you confine L&D to on-the-job-training, then the only job you will ever be able to do is the one you already have 2. The pace of change in the sectors in which I work, Energy and Consulting, is already breathtakingly fast and getting faster. To be a trusted advisor in these sectors you have to maintain your leading edge knowledge 3. Folks tend to naturally focus on building their technical skills, and while this is important, you need to balance those hard skills with improving core soft skills like leadership, active listening and conflict resolution 4. Here at Baringa, we award everyone 10 training points each year that you are free to spend as you wish on building skills and capabilities that interest you and help you grow your career. That significant level of investment by the firm is a key enabler for us attracting and retaining top talent 5. And last but not least, upskilling yourself can be tremendous fun, especially when done with an open and curious mind with kind* and supportive colleagues helping you along the way *the Baringa type of kind as described in our recent brilliant blog series https://lnkd.in/ej9FDWNt
We're proud to share that Baringa has been ranked 3rd in the super large category for the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development by Great Place to Work! This achievement reflects our dedication to providing exceptional learning and development opportunities for our people.
