LYTE Aviation has received 10 more pre orders from Ghenus Air for its LA-44 aircraft, which will be delivered within five to six years for their markets in #USA and #Korea. This order adds to further aircraft pre-orders Ghenus Air has already placed with PLANA and Odys Aviation. Ghenus has also placed a 20-strong order from Traverse Aero. With LYTE’s LA-44 #SkyBus and its cargo variant, the #SkyTruck, Ghenus is expanding its door-to-door market for corporate executives, families, businesses and small group tours. At the Farnborough International Airshow, the GACA - General Authority of Civil Aviation - Saudi Arabia and Lilium N.V. have signed a pivotal memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop and implement regulations for electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) operations in Saudi Arabia, targeting a 2026 launch. This partnership marks a significant step in establishing a regulatory framework for regional electric air mobility (RAM). The collaboration will begin with the formation of a joint Working Group, which will focus on key areas including infrastructure, air operations, airworthiness, and airspace integration. GACA will lead these efforts with strong support from Lilium. Saudi Arabia’s Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Roadmap underscores the country's commitment to integrating new transport modes into its traffic and airspace systems. Lilium, with its extensive experience in regulatory development from working with International Civil Aviation Organization, EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency, and other international bodies, will provide crucial expertise to support GACA’s objectives. Eve Air Mobility has signed a letter of intent with AirX Inc., Japan’s largest public helicopter air charter service, for up to 10 firm and up to 40 optional eVTOL aircraft. The #AsiaPacific region is an important market for Eve, with the company continuing to build diverse relationships and work with its customers and potential customers to bring a new mode of transportation to help ease traffic congestion in the region. In addition to #Japan, Eve is already working closely with customers and operators in #Australia, #India and #SouthKorea among other locations.
