The Valparaíso Region Leverages Start-up and Business Acceleration Strategy
Valparaíso Region's innovation landscape is set to receive a significant boost with the arrival of Amix Tech Lab, a prominent technology acceleration platform.
The organisation has announced the commencement of its operations in Viña del Mar, aiming to foster regional, national and international upscaling strategies. Leveraging its extensive networks in Texas and London, Amix Tech Lab is poised to transform the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

These regions are now on the brink of significant technological advancement and economic growth.
Max Morales, Founder of Amix Tech Lab, highlighted the need for enhanced specialisation in marketing and sales of the innovative services and products being developed. "Despite the various acceleration and incubation opportunities available, there is a pressing need to improve sales and customer acquisition" Morales affirmed.
Collaboration with AndesWines.com
In a strategic move, Amix Tech Lab has partnered with AndesWines.com to relaunch its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and shared value projects. This collaboration builds on a successful history of strategic projects in regions like the Itata Valley, Toconão,and the Coquimbo Region, focusing on the preservation of ancestral vineyards.
A Legacy of Strategic Projects
The expertise of Amix Tech Lab can be traced back to its Founder, Agronomist Engineer Maximiliano Morales. From 2003 to 2009, Morales worked as a consultant on strategic projects across various territories, including Salamanca, near Minera Pelambres. One notable project was the development of the Tourist Route of the Choapa Valley, which integrated ‘Chacolí’ wine with sport fishing and archaeology, aiming to boost tourism in the area.
Additionally, Morales served as Manager of the Chile Vitivinícola 2.0 Strategic Node, an initiative backed by CORFO and Vinos de Chile, to define the roadmap for the wine industry between Maule and Aysén.
Building International Connections
In recent years, Morales has travelled extensively, particularly in Texas and Mexico, to forge strong connections with local buyers and stakeholders in the Texan ecosystem. The strength of Amix Tech Lab lies in its robust networks across Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Mexico City and recently London, thanks to the collaboration with Fran Bridgewater FCIM FCIM, an esteemed PR and wine business consultant based in England.
Looking Ahead
With its strategic focus and extensive network, Amix Tech Lab is well-positioned to drive the success of local start-ups and businesses on a global scale.
