KKR, a prominent private equity investment firm out of New York has reentered the multifamily investment space by acquiring over 5,200 units across the U.S., including Texas and Florida. This move signals renewed confidence in the multifamily sector, as some firms are banking on the dwindling apartment construction starts to boost occupancy and rent growth in the near future.
