After the first day of the Clean Busses in Europe conference it is great to see how many players are focusing on smart charging.

As #RoveCharging moves to join the #ChargeXConsortium to improve consumer experience in the #EVcharging space, we look forward to presenting our position that all Charge Session Failures (CSF) need to be reported into a nationwide database identifying how and where the failure occurred so we can start fixing the low hanging fruit issues. Only with true and transparent Root Cause Analysis will we be able to address the main complaint with EV ownership.

A panel of industry experts recently assembled virtually to discuss the unique challenges and considerations of municipal fleet and facilities teams as they look to implement charging infrastructure for their growing electric fleets. Panelists from The Mobility House | North America, Ameresco, and Epic Charging had a dynamic discussion on all facets of charging infrastructure and answered questions from the audience.

🚍 A new publication from The International Council on Clean Transportation presents the updated methodology of the E-Bus Radar platform (www.ebusradar.org), which now includes a life-cycle assessment to estimate the greenhouse gas emissions avoided with the adoption of battery electric buses and trolleybuses, compared to internal combustion engine buses.     🔋 This update accounts for emissions from exhaust, vehicle and battery manufacturing, vehicle maintenance, and fuel and electricity production, and uses country-specific data from Latin America.     🌎 The E-Bus Radar is a platform created and maintained by the ZEBRA partnership, co-led by the ICCT and C40 Cities, and it tracks the implementation of battery electric buses and trolleybuses in the public transport systems of Latin American cities and their associated reductions compared to conventional models. 133,000 ⚡️🔌 charging points in France 🔹By May 31, 2024, France had 133,053 public charging points, showcasing a substantial 33% growth within a year. 📈 🔹May was the second most productive month of 2024, with 3,528 new charging points added (+2.72%). ⚡️ 🔹The French network reached a significant milestone of 5 MW of installed capacity, surpassing Europe’s AFIR targets by 258%. 🚀
