That’s why I was so excited to welcome Alex Gruzen, of WiTricity , to the Driving Mobility podcast. WiTricity is developing — and scaling — wireless EV charging solutions, which allows drivers to efficiently charge their cars without even getting out of their vehicles. It’s such a promising solution that 70% of surveyed drivers said they’d be more likely to buy an EV if they had access to wireless charging. Thank you to Chase Drum for the invitation to once again be on the Grid Connections podcast alongside Loren McDonald and John McElroy to discuss the halfway point of 2024 and where our predictions for this year landed. I was concerned at the beginning of the year that EV hype would lose steam and in ways we're seeing that, but it only invites the opportunity to be more thoughtful in how we position EVs to the general public.
