The key to success in Namibia’s Orange Basin has been the 3D data that allows plays to be de-risked and uncertainty understood. Since 2022, Searcher and Shearwater have been acquiring a total of 12,500 sqkm of high-end multi-client 3D data on adjacent acreage, to allow explorers to understand the discoveries that have been made and reveal the many more discoveries that will soon be made in this basin. Each of the four surveys; Bridge, Link, Kudu and Gap show numerous material sized AVO supported clastic plays can now be drilled to build further the Super Basin status of Namibia’s Orange Basin. We will not stop here either and whilst the next set of discoveries are being made, Searcher and Shearwater will be back with new Multi-Client acquisition unlocking the potential of this exciting basin.  Congratulations from Searcher and Shearwater to TotalEnergies, Shell, Galp Energia and their partners, for the amazing results to-date. We are pleased to announce the completion of our maiden internal Prospective Resource estimate for Project Leonis, revealing an impressive 381 million barrels (MMbbls) of oil (net mean, unrisked) recoverable from the Upper Schrader Bluff Formation (USB).   Key Highlights: ➡️ Total estimated net mean Prospective Resource of 381 MMbbls of oil. ➡️ Unrisked net 3U (high) of 671 MMbbls, 2U (best) of 338 MMbbls, and 1U (low) of 167 MMbbls. ➡️ Permitting and planning commenced for the Tiri-1 exploration well targeting the USB Formation. ➡️ Exceptional estimated porosity of nearly 30% over 175 feet of interpreted pay. ➡️ Ongoing farm-out process to secure a funding partner for drilling.   Strategically located on the North Slope of Alaska with TAPS running through our acreage and Deadhorse just six miles to the North, Project Leonis is a significant resource and development opportunity.
