When I first started coaching, I’d throw the kitchen sink at every client on day 1. Fully custom meal plan, strict cardio regimen, 5 day training program. Very low compliance & not great results. Now, I hardly even tell clients what to eat week one, and I only have them do 4 short workouts to assess their fitness level in the first week. And the results are astronomically better. Very good question, I get asked this a lot My opinion is - we need to enjoy our lives, yes health and fitness is number 1 for us to operate at our best but we do need down time with stuff we enjoy. Especially is we are busy with kids, business etc, We end up loopy if it was all training and eating clean all the time. Only my opinion Let me know your thoughts below 🤝

If you want to get in shape while also getting fitter faster and stronger WITHOUT Flip flopping between different diets and exercise fads that get you nowhere - I have a huge opportunity for Just 5 people until the end of the week. You have a personal trainer but not seeing any results. 😔❌ Here’s why 👇🏻 1️⃣ You don’t have any accountability outside of the gym 2️⃣ You’re probably given nutrition advice and not a plan tailored to your personal and professional life 3️⃣ You aren’t doing what needs to be done outside of the gym because you’re having to think about it yourself 4️⃣ The training side is easy … you need help with all the other things outside of the gym 5️⃣ You’re not having your daily and weekly metrics tracked to see if you’re progressing or not. Want to know a simple way to progress your weight training in the gym or at home? Use double progression. Using a goblet squat as an example. Start with the weight and decide which rep range you’re going to use. A common one is 8-10 reps. Start with 8 reps with. Eg 25kg (should be an 8 out of 10 in difficulty). The first week you might do three sets of eight reps. 3 x 8 (25kg) Next week if you can, add a rep, so you do three sets of nine reps. 3 x 9 (25kg) Then the next week you do 3×10 (25kg). Now, you simply grab the next dumbbell up, maybe 28 kg and you go back to 7 to 8 reps x 3. (28kg) Then you start again until you get to three sets of 10 at 28 kg. You can rinse and repeat this for quite a long time. If you want a professional to write your program for you and sort out your nutrition for you so that you know you’re doing the right thing and not just guessing message me and we’ll see if you’re a good fit for my program.
