BSR Go-abroad is definitely a program to participate in if you are considering exporting—and want to do it smartly and with lower risk. 💡 The program has 5 levels designed to ensure your success. Want to participate? See what we've prepared for you! Every micro-entrepreneur participating in the project is thoroughly assessed for their internationalisation readiness. 🌍 This is the first stage, after which each SME is provided with a next step plan. 📈 If a company is only considering internationalisation, they proceed to the training stage where valuable and substantive knowledge is imparted. 🎓 More advanced entrepreneurs can start at a higher level. 🚀 Sound interesting? I discussed how Asian and middle eastern nations are boosting economic growth by inviting entrepreneurs. Their initiatives streamline processes and provide support systems to make it easier to start and operate businesses. I commended this business-friendly approach as a driving force behind the region's flourishing economies. #EntrepreneurshipDrive #EaseOfBusiness #RegionalEconomicGrowth #Farhanqureshi #fq

Director of International Partnerships @ ETIC | Entrepreneurship, Social Impact, Corporate Engagement
This week I have been in London, participating in the first cross-border Member Learning Exchanges hosted by Youth Business International (YBI) & Hatch Enterprise UK where I am learning alongside members who support entrepreneurs in Turkey, Chile, and the UK. Here are my observations and action items from DAY1 (Theme: Grant Fund for Impact Founders). Creating a Founders' Product Catalog: This tool will be invaluable when conversing with corporate partners, ensuring we're always ready to showcase our founders' products. It's essential to remember that for corporations, purchasing products can often be the starting point of a relationship. Before Launching a Grant Program: It's crucial to conduct thorough research on why entrepreneurs find it challenging to secure funding. Understanding the scope and reasons will guide us in designing more accessible and effective grant programs. Involving Corporate Volunteers in the Grant Fund Application Process: There's a significant opportunity to engage corporate volunteers more deeply in the application process such as clinics, 1-on-1 support, and selection. Providing Feedback to Unsuccessful Applicants: It's vital to offer feedback on key areas to those who don't succeed in their applications. This feedback process can open new opportunities for them.
It was great to welcome fellow Youth Business International (YBI) members Habitat Derneği, ETIC (Entrepreneurial Training for Innovative Communities), and Acción Emprendedora to the Hatch office today for an information sharing session around how we can best support young entrepreneurs to thrive. It was so valuable to hear more about the ecosystems in Türkiye, Japan, and Chile, and how we can all learn good practice from each other. #YouthEntrepreneurship #GlobalCollaboration #BusinessSupport
