"✅Embrace a hybrid work culture at a minimum, and where you can, a fully remote culture." Yesterday, I spoke to someone in The Bay Area who said it's slim pickings when it comes to remote work. IN THE BAY AREA. IN ACCOUNTING. AS A CPA.🤯 I was flabbergasted! The BIGGEST reason why I am getting my CPA license now, after being eligible for 13 years now, (SMH) is for the freedom and flexibility that remote jobs offer. I will still get my license, regardless, but don't you see how it can be discouraging to some people to become a CPA? Remote work offers WONDER for mental health: You save time commuting and have more time to exercise. You can take a walk during the day, instead of at 5:30 am or 6:30pm, when the sun is no longer out. You have more time to cook delicious foods. More time to spend with your family. Bring remote accounting jobs back!

Today's accountants aren't as enamored by ping-pong tables and post-season pizza parties.
