To clarify a few things re 'The Hull Business Expo' we have been asked - #TheyAskYouAnswer by Marcus Sheridan 1- If its Full can I still walk around. Answer: YES - Its only the stands that are full. Everyone is welcome to visit Princes Quay Shopping Centre on the 10th April and show your support. 2. - Is it just for The Business Culture HEY members. Answer: NO. The expo is open to all business and people in Hull & East Yorkshire and The Humber. 3. Do I need to register and/or buy a ticket to attend. Answer: NO. You do not have to register - the event is FREE to attend. Just come along and support the exhibitors and meet new people. 4. Why should I attend - what's in it for me - is there a free lunch. Answer: WOW - I really did not get this question - What's in it for me! If that's all your thinking about, then its probably best you stay away. The expo is a great chance for us all to Connect, engage and support local businesses, its people and the City of Hull. Please spread the word - the more people know about it the more successful it will be. And if you're not attending #GiveYourHeadAWobble - a great advert currently going out by our headline partner Hull's 107FM - Pete Mills and Burnsy.

Recognition and Rewards: The purpose of most incentive travels & conferences is to recognize and reward employees for their efforts and accomplishments. Who doesn’t enjoy getting their name out there? When this appreciation is presented in the form of an unforgettable event, it has a multiplicative effect on the employee’s positive experience.

The Midlands Service Excellence Awards launched in 2018 and below are some of the features of the awards and how they differ from a number of other business awards:   As organiser, I do not get involved in the judging process. The awards are totally independently judged. Every year, the composition of the judging panel changes.   The names of the judges are not shared with anyone until the awards entry deadline has passed.   At the end of judging day, the chair of judges informs me who is on each award category short-list but the winner’s names are put in a sealed envelope which I don’t open until all finalists have been notified.   The judges are not informed of any sponsors, who attends events I organise during the year, whether the individual/business has entered before and how they did etc., until after the judging day has taken place.   A single-entry form (1,200-word submission) allows entrants to be considered in up to 3 of the 15 award categories available. Below are four of the categories. The awards are free to enter.   There is no public voting, so it does not matter how many people you know.   There are no interviews to get nervous and anxious about.   The entry deadline is never extended, as I consider it unfair on those that get their entry submitted on time.   The cost of attending the awards night is the same for everyone. More details of the 7 March 2024 awards night (taking place in Solihull) will be released soon. For now, please save the date.   The awards night is organised at an affordable cost so that all finalists and their guests can celebrate their achievements and get the recognition they deserve.   Sponsorship opportunities exist from just £500, making it affordable to all businesses that wish to be associated with the awards. Bespoke packages are available, so you only pay for what you wish to have included in your package.
